Khalid Ibrahim, 60, is the former chief executive of Kumpulan Guthrie Bhd and former group chief executive of government-linked plantations company Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB).

After spending nearly two decades in fund management, most recently with Malaysia's National Equities Board (PNB), Khalid has made an about-turn.
